(no subject)

I'm still being a big grouch. Maybe it's the weather. Although, I really have been enjoying the rain lately. I'm glad we're not in a terrible drought like 2002, anyway. I am anxious about what this means for my train, though. Hopefully everything's okay by Friday and I won't have to change any of my plans. We'll see. I'm trying not to worry about it. It's sunny right now, but "they" are calling for more rain this afternoon. Nothing I can do about it anyway, so I guess I'd be better off not stressing. Easier said than done...

The gym was really crowded last night, so I don't feel like I got the best possible workout - I did all the leg machines, but the arm stuff I wanted to do was all in use. I managed to squeeze in a few sets, but it's been a long time since I've had a good, full upper-body workout, and I felt particularly bad to miss it again. I did a few ab things, 30 minutes on the elliptical, and then left. I guess I got a decent workout, but I feel like I could've done better...I'm meeting with my trainer tomorrow night, so I'll get my ass sufficiently kicked one last time before I head up for bridge. I'm on my own at the gym tonight, but I'll make sure I get my upper body stuff done. I'm doing legs, abs, biceps, and triceps tomorrow with Jen. I hate leg days with her, because she always makes me do lunges and squats, which I hate, hate, hate...but I wouldn't do them if she didn't make me, and they're good for me, so that's why I pay for it. Sigh. Oh boy, though, it makes my legs hurt just thinking about it...

And sadness...they seem to have gotten rid of my favorite machine at the gym. It's one of those reverse crunch things, where you situate yourself face-down and use your lower back/ass/hamstrings to pull you up - I love those - and I couldn't find it yesterday:( Hopefully they just moved it, and didn't get rid of it. That would make me sad.

Man, I'm boring. I'll go now...
