So, we figured out why firefox isn't working for me anymore and I'm stuck with netscape. It's because someone that I banned from using my computer logged on to the guest account, which, obviously, is not an administrator account, and tried to update mozilla. It's not even his fucking computer! But because it was not an admin account, the update froze and now I can't open it at all and I have to hardwipe my computer. God dammit.

And my house is a wreck. Jer left "early" this morning...so I thought...for Roanoke. Turns out he was just upstairs online for three hours. Had I known he was not leaving at 7am, I would've come up and had him make breakfast. But he came down at 10am and pecked me on the cheek and said goodbye. His absence today means two things. I'm on my own for food, and I can't take a shower, because I might fall. ARGH. So I came upstairs to get breakfast, and the kitchen is a fucking disaster. Flour EVERYWHERE and not a clean dish (but plenty of dirty ones) anywhere. I cried. It's so frustrating...not that I'm a domestic goddess, but I will wash dishes when we're out. Jeremy eats out of pots and pans and drinks out of tupperware before he'll run a dishwasher. And by the time the situation is that desperate, there's a good three loads' worth in the sink, counter, etc. GRRRR.

I'm over it, though, because pretty soon I'm leaving for work and *someone* promised that the kitchen would be clean when I get home. AHEM. I am also getting around without the crutches today. :) I'm still too nervous about my balance issues to take a shower without help, so I'm going skanky today.

I finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban last night. It was sooooooo good. Definitely my favorite one yet, and it's really got me looking forward to the next one. Jer's supposed to pick it up for me today and bring it to me at work, but knowing him, it'll be late before he gets back from Roanoke, even though he could've gone, done what he had to do, and been back in five hours tops if you ask me. He's already been gone 4 hours and he says "they haven't accomplished anything yet." Sigh.

Anyway, I'm not really in a crappy mood, I just felt like complaining a lot. But I will be a devil woman if the house is still like this when I get home. RAWR.

Peace.

Oooh, yeah. Azkaban is my favorite of the first three HP books. (I can't reasonably justify grouping 1-2-3 in with 4-5. They're just so different.)

Good luck solving the dirty-dishes problem! The fact that you have a dishwasher is a huge advantage...maybe you should tape up the kitchen sink, so that the dishes have nowhere BUT the dishwasher to go? And/or put up signs. Or, start a routine where at the end of the day, all the dirty dishes go in the dishwasher.
