I am looking forward to EVERYTHING.

I have an interview tomorrow for the job transfer. This means they decided NOT to post the job publicly, and as of yesterday, I was the only applicant. Eeee!

In less than one week, I will be Bowling in the Hills! Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, here we fuckin' come!

My husband turns 25 on Friday. Today I called home to tell my mom about my interview, and my dad asked me if Jer wanted to go to the Indian restaurant (our favorite) in Harrisonburg for his birthday. I didn't even remind them, and not only did Dad remember his birthday, he offered to take us out...aww:) So we'll do that soon, but not Friday, cause Jcow works all day. It's just so not like my Dad to be like that, so I thought it was very sweet. Apparently they did some good bonding on the ride back from the washer/dryer pickup.

Today at work, I had a big political argument with Chris, the cocky conservative new guy, and I totally buried him. I didn't even raise my voice, I was just very calmly better at using my brain. Yay for being right;)

Also, apparently the London bombers were British? Take that, racist assumptive assholes.

Peace.

being born in Britain doesn't make you not also Arabic.

which isn't to say that the suspects are or aren't...but I haven't seen any indications as to their ethnicity in the news.

So the jury's still out in my world on the racist assumptive assholes.

I stand corrected.

Racist assumptive assholes 1, tolerance 0.

And damn that makes me sad.

Makes me sad, too, but in a way I'm very glad they were British, because it just shows what kind of racist assumptive assholes are ruining I mean running the world.

Maybe racist assumptive assholitry has something to do with why people want to bomb others? Maybe if they cut back on it, there'd be less "terrorism?" I think not hating people is a better way to create peace than trying to spread one form of government across the land...
