Jul. 15th, 2005 04:48 pmThe camping trip WILL BE MOVED. I just talked to Jan and she wants me right up to the very end of the period where she can have me (damn hobag), so I'll be in Hell until August 14th. Sigh.
Does anyone have any conflicts if the camping trip is August 27-28th? That's my first choice for rescheduling, but I understand with school starting back up, it may not be ideal. Let me know.
So Jer didn't answer his phone when I called to tell him I'd gotten the job, so I decided I'd go to the mall and wish him happy birthday and tell him in person. When I got there, there were signs up for a blood drive, and it was pathetic - hardly anyone was donating. So I was like, well, hey, I can do that. So I signed up and then realized I hadn't had too many fluids, so I'd better drink a bit. I went back to Ruby's and got a huge mofo of a cup of water and drained it in like two minutes, then went to do my bloodgiving. Not two seconds in the chair, I started feeling woosy. Luckily, it passed quickly and I was able to continue donating. But then I had to pee really bad, and they wouldn't let me get up until they were sure I wouldn't pass out. Finally I was like, would you rather have to fan me off or hose me down, because pretty soon there won't be a choice in the matter. They let me get up to go to the bathroom and I was fine after that, so I met Jer back at RT and had cheese sticks with him. He's working a double, so he couldn't come home with me, but we hung out for a few hours before I started getting really tired and decided to come home.
And just now, Shelly called me to tell me she's been by the campsite and roped off for us, and now she's in Northampton for EFO's gig there tonight. So exciting! Five more days and we'll be partying it up together. Rock on:)
Peace.
