Mkay. What is the point of a sentence if you're not expected to serve it? Ugh.
I have many problems with the prison system (although they're not superbly researched, I admit), but...why have "mandatory minimum sentences" if it's only mandatory to say "this is your jail time," when really it means "the only way you'll actually be in here this long is if you die in your cell and no one removes your body for six years."
