Aug. 23rd, 2005 07:39 amI just woke up. How weird is it that the moment I woke up, I was bored? Too bored even to consider trying to nod off again. But I am tired, so go figure. Yesterday felt like a Tuesday, so I was hoping today would be Wednesday, but I guess it didn't work out that way. It's a good thing I didn't go to the movies with Ben last night, because I fell asleep shortly after 9pm. I think the plan is to go see 40-Year-Old Virgin with Danny when he gets to town. Preferably a 6 or 7 o'clock showing, cause I have trouble with the awakeness sometimes.
I was really tired yesterday because I'm generally exhausted anyway from not having had a day off in a month, but then I went swimming after work. 12 laps. 550m. I was actually winded and had a very high heart rate when I got out of the pool. I'm kinda sore today, too. I guess I pushed myself harder than usual. I suspect I'll go swimming again tonight. Yesterday I was kind of annoyed because all the other people swimming laps were clearly swim teamers and they made me feel like a doofus, and I actually would have stayed and swam more, but this asshole with flippers decided to share my lane. One kick in the head with a flipper was enough to call it a day. That pissed me off. It's like, if you're wearing flippers, you're not really pushing yourself, so why don't you leave the lanes for the people who are and just play in the deep end, mkay?
Oh, that reminds me, Ben and Danny, wanna come play on the resort with me this week. I can get you into the gyms and pools for free. Lemme know.
Peace.
