Sep. 17th, 2005 05:19 pmIt's so nice to have free time!
I should be cleaning house or something like that, but I don't want to...heh...so instead I went to the Dayton Farmer's Market. It's a long drive to get there, but it was a great day for a drive, and I had a great afternoon. After the market, I went to Bridgewater College to see if any of my old pals were out. I didn't run into anyone, but I did walk around the college while talking to Emily on the smellphone, so I got some fresh air, exercise, and good conversation out of that. Then I came home, and here I am. I'm kind of sleepy - I only slept about 6 hours last night. I think the next thing on my agenda is to watch some football and get started on those forms I brought home from work. If they take as long as I think they will, I'll have 47 hours for the week. Looking at my pay stub yesterday, I noticed that about 1/10 of my year's pay has been from OT, and I really never worked much OT until I got this job in July - just goes to show how valuable it is.
Tomorrow, I'm going to go to the UU church with Jer, drop him off at home to go to sleep, then head to my farm with Ben Chambers for some apples, walking, and a day of merriment. I'll try to remember to take a camera. The farm is so beautiful. That's a small shot of it in my icon. The figures in it are me and a cow. That's as close as the cow let me come.
Peace.
