Since Jer's working, and I didn't have a huge appetite but should eat something, I had a bowl of Kashi Go Lean Crunch. I'd never had it before, but I figured it would be a good thing to work into my new diet, right? Well, that shit is DISGUSTING. It smells like old coffee, tastes like old bark, and makes me want to vomit with every bite. But it's good for me and I should get used to it, because eventually I'll tolerate it, and then even maybe like it a bit, and it's good to have something that's quick and easy and healthy, so...I ate the whole bowl. It is a testament to my dedication that I was able to do so, because I think I would've enjoyed eating soup out of my old shoes more than I enjoyed eating this. And for those of you who don't know about my shoes, check out the poetry section on my brother's website...www.sbillmassie.com. So I have to give myself a huge pat on the back for finishing that bowl of Kashi. And it may be a while before I allow that stuff back into my mouth, but I'm open to the possibility...so...good for me.

Peace.

I would recommend raspberry muesli. It's super-tasty, and is probably fairly healthy as well. (Adding real raspberries/blueberries/etc to the bowl would make it taste even better.)

Do you eat your cereal with milk? Or soy milk? That might make it taste better.

Fiber cereals taste like ass. Don't eat them.

Milk. Soy milk is another bridge I'm wanting but waiting to cross.

Yeah, definitely avoid the soy milk.. that makes anything taste horrid.

Hey, I have friends who guzzle vanilla soy milk like there's no tomorrow. Apparently it's actually pretty tasty. (I haven't had the nerve to try it yet, though.)

I've never been a fan.

And there really is no benefit to it over regular milk... well, I drink 1%... so, unleaded.

I drink skim milk, even though I'm lactose intollerant (I love milk). The advantage would be for Jeremy and the others around me - less flatulence;) But if it's not healthier, I'm not doing it. I like to blast ass sometimes. TMI? Sorry.

Umm...if you're a vegan, there's a *huge* difference.

Or even if you're a vegetarian for ecological impact reasons.

Just not health-wise (unless you're afraid of hormones and stuff).

Well, okay, yeah.

But, thankfully, I'm not. :)

hmmmm...i like the kashi go lean crunch, but i have a thing for cinnamon.

u kinda have to give it time to soak up the milk, or else you'll break a frigging tooth. actually, i think i like the regular kashi go lean better.

either way, both of them have a lot of fiber, which is good for you because fiber goes straight through your system while still making you feel full. eating fiber is kind of like eating poop. i eat poop.
