For every person who has recommended a particular brand of Kashi or other healthy cereal of that ilk, there's another person telling me that that kind is total crap and I need to try this other kind, which other folks are telling me is nasty...you get it. I think I'm going to tough it out with the go lean crunch, because we bought the stuff at Costco and it would be quite a waste now to decide I wasn't going to eat anymore...since I've got 800 pounds of it. I have a feeling I won't really like any of them very much, but at least I can try to warm up to one kind, rather than jumping between a bunch of brands I really hate. Thanks for all the input, though. I'll definitely try some of your suggestions.

I was hanging around talking to Tammi (my boss) this morning about my lifestyle change (I swear, every time I type that I think of menopause - cause women call that 'the change.' Heh), and about how I wanted to start yoga. I told her I wanted to take Betty Brubaker's class, but since it starts right at 5, that doesn't work. She said, "Meg, you come in early every day. If you want to go to the class, you can leave early. I have no problem with that." Yay:) Tammi rules. Even if all the other department heads are afraid of her. That's part of why she rules, come to think of it....

So tomorrow I'm going to go to yoga class. :) I've never done yoga before, just yogalates. I hope I don't make a royal fool of myself, because I'm not in the least bit flexible. We'll see. All the guests say the class is really good, so I'll have to check it out. The instructor is Steve's ex-wife. Steve is the collections manager, who sometimes comes to work, but not lately...;)

Back to work with me. Peace.

Really, nobody starts out a class like yoga or whatever being flexible. It's something you have to build up to. When I started TKD in 10th grade I couldn't even touch my toes. Literally. I was so jealous of Helen, who could. But by the time we did those physical fitness evaluations in the spring, I got the best score on the sit-and-reach I had ever gotten (something "Presidential").

So. It will all come with time.
