I don't have much time...any time...but I have to post about this. Remember when my car broke down and we were really close to getting me a new one? (the new one would've cost $1300ish). Instead, my parents put $700 into a car that has very close to nothing for a bluebook value. I took it back and it still didn't work right, remember? So my parents took it to the dealer. They fixed one thing on it, but when I told them about the brakes, they decided to take it out for a spin to see for themselves. Yeah, sure, please mr. mechanic, go out in my car and try to lose control. Have fun, asshole. So it worked, and he did. In doing so, he noticed that the light for the thing he supposedly fixed came back on again in the car, so he supposedly fixed it again and supposedly charged my folks some more money. He supposedly figured out what was wrong with my brakes, and tells my folks it's gonna be $1000+ to fix it, plus the other little things. So, my parents figure, we've already put $700 into a car we've promised Meg we'll replace in May with an Audi TT, why not put in $1500 more? GOOD GOD. I could've gotten two Jettas and a scooter for that price (btw, I had a dream last night that I was driving a scooter that was a manual transmission...pretty weird). On top of that, my folks are irritated with me for even asking. "Hey Mom and Dad, care to save a thousand bucks and make your daughter really happy?" "Shut up! No!" Ok...
So that's why my parents are stupid. I love them, but they are stupid.
