Yay for Yoga!
Sep. 25th, 2005 06:51 pmNamaste.
I just finished my first yoga class. It was awesome! I'm so glad I went - big thanks to
duhpens for recommending it. I'm going to try to recruit some more of my friends to come, but I don't know if any of them will want to or be able to. Nevertheless, I loved the class. I couldn't believe how sweaty I got. I didn't figure that would happen with a non-aerobic workout. The people were really nice, too. Way liberal and all. There were lots of other beginners, too, so I didn't look like a total jackass. I'm definitely going back on Wednesday. It's at 7pm at Cups to Go in Harrisonburg - burg people, c'mon...Ben? Would you and Kristen join me? It's way fun. Oh, and free.
So I'm feeling great now. Really relaxed, happy, and excited about what the future holds. I know that sounds cheesy, but I do have a whole new outlook. It's good.
Peace.

Date: 2005-09-26 07:17 am (UTC)Last year in my Hindi class my friend Jen and I used to go around saying "Namastee, meeri kuutiy~a!" (rendered phonemically) which means "Hello, my bitches." It was great. (I can tell you how to pronounce that someday if you want.)
