Oct. 7th, 2005 04:24 pmIt's been a crazy day. Amanda, who is three months pregnant, fell down the steps after lunch. Cassidy took her to the East Rockingham Health Center, where they determined she had a sprained ankle, and set her to her OB-GYN in Harrisonburg, which is where they are now. Hopefully everything is okay with her baby - she had a miscarriage earlier this year, so her system is already weary.
EFO announced they're selling Hazel, their RV. They must be more hard up than I thought. If you're a fan, or if you think you might be a fan, please, please, please go to their website and load up on merchandise. www.eddiefromohio.com. You can hear some songs from their latest album there, if you need convincing. They're family-friendly, fun folk rock. Consumer season is coming - think about it, folks. And if you don't love them, but you want to help them anyway, I'd love a hoodie. ;) And when they do go back on tour, please try extra-hard to catch them in your area. The good news is that it looks like they got all of Julie's cancer. Unfortunately, they still have to cancel a bunch more gigs and they're losing big $$.
Side note - any Pirate's Patchers interested in pooling together to buy Hazel? We can come up with $45,000, can't we? It'd be great for FRFF... ;) I can afford 1/1000th of it comfortably...
Also, Autumn Peak was cancelled due to rain. I'm bummed about that, but now my whole weekend is free. Yay, more cleaning house. Or, more accurately, more procrastinating....
Anyway, if anyone has a good idea for indoor activities, lemme know. Maybe watch some football?
Peace.
EDIT: www.eddiefromohio.com has songs from LOTS of their albums. Click the Music tab on the left and scroll down to make your selection. It plays the whole song, you just have to let it load. Go!
