My husband is a good boy, after all. I just hope he can make it through the night at work after I woke him up early to "make up." I'm sure he'll be fine.
Anyway, I'm in a great mood, because I'm totally loving this Mammals CD. In fact, I love it so much that I just ordered their other studio album AND two other albums I've been wanting from CDBaby. I bought an older (live?) Ember Swift CD, and a 2004 Mark Erelli CD that I didn't know existed until recently.
The Mammals CD that I've been listening to non-stop since I got it (yesterday) is just rocking my world. It's so NOT the kind of music I would've bought for myself before my Falcon Ridge days. Ever since then, my eyes have been open to a bright new world of banjos and fiddles. Really raucous ones. As much as I babble about all the music I love, I really don't distribute enough of it. Part of that is poverty, the bonds of which I am now free(ish), so I'd like to start spreading the sounds. And since I've got nothing better to do tomorrow, I think I'll spend the day burning CDs, whaddya say? Does anyone want me to send them something? If so, comment here or email me your snail mail address and a brief description of the type of music you usually like. If you're a Falcon Ridge person, don't bother, because 90% of my CDs are Falcon Ridge artists from the last three years...but all you other folks who haven't had the joy of the folk festival experience...let me know!
