jianantonicAs promised, unlike the last four times, I did go to yoga last night. It was good, and I'd say the workout itself was actually easier than the one we did last time...just some slight differences...however, it was WAY harder for me. My first problem was that it was so hot, my feet were sweaty and were sliding all over my mat, and so many of the poses require a wide stance...it just fucked me up big time and I wasn't able to hold a lot of the warrior poses well. It also did a number on my broken foot, which was fine after the last time but is killing me today. I think next time I'll take a towel. And hopefully sweat less. It's a shame that I had to do all my online shopping on Saturday evening. That means it's only going out today, even though I ordered it two days ago. But the end of the week will bring the excitement of three new CDs, so I'm looking forward to that.
To look forward to today: Jer and I are going to the Jason Bishop show for the first time. It's a weekly show the resort puts on. Jason Bishop is a magician/comedian, and Chal says it's free for us to go, so right on. Ray starts his new job here today, too. The end of the month will bring my bonus check for referring Jer, and three months from now, we'll get another one for Ray. We also get Christmas bonuses at some point in between there, so I should be ready for Consumer Season. I really don't like the idea of giving gifts just because it's a certain day of the year, but I know some folks will be giving me gifts, and I'll be accepting them, so I don't suppose it'd be right for me not to give them as well. This is a whole other post (which I've already written about a few times in the past and don't have time to go into again right now), but I will talk about it some later when I have time. And now to work. Only five more days 'til the next weekend. Oh, but I don't get a weekend this week because I have that Lexington bridge tournament. Damn. Oh well, extra $$.
