Oct. 27th, 2005 10:14 amI did not end up drinking last night. I decided I'd been so good all day - healthy food, healthy activity, 10 servings of water - I didn't want to fuck it up. So instead I had some cheesy toast, watched the new South Park (hilarious!), and went to bed earlyish. This morning, as I was looking around the room for something to wear to work, my eyes fell on this purple dress that I bought at a thrift store but haven't worn yet because it was just a smidge too tight and unflattering when I bought it. Just for shits and giggles, I tried it on (it's a summer dress, I wasn't going to wear it), and it fit. Actually, I take that back. It was loose! I've lost almost 20 pounds, and my pant size is still the same, although I guess I have gone from denial that they're too small to slightly loose with some breathing room, so I probably have gone down a size, really. It's just kind of frustrating, because 20 pounds is a lot of weight to lose to not be able to squeeze into my old clothes yet. But, 20 pounds is still less than I've gained over the past three years, so I won't try to force the high school clothes thing until I've lost a bit more. Okay, maybe a lot more;) But I'm getting there, and I feel great. Yay:)
Today is passing slowly, probably because I'm really looking forward to tonight. I'm having dinner out with Gina and Jeremy at Romano's, which I know to be fantastically delicious. It's a lot like the Olive Garden, actually. Yummmmmmmmmmmmy. Then I'm going to go to the gym tonight to work off the ravioli I'm going to have. It'll be worth it.
Peace.

Date: 2005-10-27 09:03 am (UTC)Yeah, I'm in the same boat... I've dropped down, like, 2 pant sizes.
I can actually fit into clothes I wore in highschool now. :)

That and the fact that if I'd bought a utilikilt, I would've had to declare bankruptcy.
:D
