Nov. 3rd, 2005 08:17 amLast night,
duhpens hosted a Mary Kay product preview for our customers. It wasn't exactly heavily attended, but we had a good time, and I finally got to meet
bigonbnl after reading her journal daily for about eight or nine months now. We gave Gina a makeover, and she went nuts. She's so excited about all the colors we gave her, it looks like she's about to place a hulking order. So that's good. But I shouldn't get my hopes up...hehe. But whatever she orders, I promised her I'd put the order in this weekend, so if any of you want to order anything, now would be a great time. There are some great gift sets, and December's coming, if that means anything special to you (not so much to me, but like most, I'm willing to profit over misplaced religious fervor).
I came home and cuddled with my husband for the rest of the night, fell asleep at the very beginning of the new South Park, and screamed at Jer when he tried to wake me up to go downstairs to bed. I ask, if I'm already asleep, why is it so important to wake me up so I'll go sleep in another place? As long as the first place I'm sleeping is not your face or the bathroom floor, and I'm not publicly naked, what difference does it make? So arguing ensued, and I slept on the couch, just like I wanted to. As an apology for the argument, Jeremy made me breakfast this morning, but I'm not sure if that wasn't just a trick, because they were the worst eggs I've ever had. Since Jeremy is also the chef of the best eggs I've ever had, I have to wonder. No offense, Jer, it's just that they were really dry and really spicy, and those are both the opposites of what I like. But I don't really think he was trying to get back at me. I don't mean to complain about the eggs. I appreciate the gesture. And I appreciate my husband. Lots and lots. I just didn't want to wake up last night.
The day ahead looks pretty good. I'll get a little OT at work, then Jer and I are meeting the Vogens for dinner at Romano's, my new favorite restaurant in McGaheysville (like there are so many). After dinner, Jer and I are going thrift storing, and then back home to work out in the evening. Yay.
Now to work. Peace.

Date: 2005-11-03 05:58 pm (UTC)Then again, last night I very nearly slept on the floor because my back was KILLING me in my bed. Stupid back. Stupid soft bed (which is apparently actually very hard. what gives, bed?). Ah well.
