I graduated from college a year ago, but I am still on the email list for the history department. I am not on the email list for the whole school. Apparently, an email was sent to the whole school list to inform them of some tragic event. The history dept. head sent out an email saying that he was deeply saddened and if he or his colleagues could be of any help, just to ask. What happened?!

BC people? Help me out here. Please?

I couldn't find anything in the newspaper or on the website.

Let me know, please, I'm curious and worried.

I found this in my inbox this morning at work:

It is with deep sadness that I must announce the death of Company 15 Firefighter Josh Lee. Josh's death occurred yesterday. Josh was from Loudon County and was a freshman at Bridgewater College. He was also a volunteer firefighter in Loudon.

Although he was a member of our agency for only a short period of time, he had become a reliable asset and will be missed.

Josh actually shot himself. If you check out his facebook a lot of his friends have left messages since this happened.
