The sore throat stage of my cold is just about over. Unfortunately, the runny nose stage has only just begun. That's my least favorite stage. Hopefully it will go away soon. I just did a shot of Dayquil, so that should get me through the workday.
In other news, there's snow on the ground here. It's such a light dusting that I thought it was frost until I saw that it was on rooftops, cars, my back porch, trees, etc. It'd have to be a hell of a frost to do all that, so the official ruling is: snow.
Rumors are flying at work about the water park and ski season. The official word is that ski season will begin this Saturday (I will be in Charlottesville) and that the water park will be open "before Christmas." That's the official word. The buzz is that the water park will be open to employees "Thursday," i.e., "today." (Three people on my friends list who do not know each other have ranted about improper use of "i.e." in the last week. Well, guys, that was for you.)
Peace.
