Should I take the GRE's now? Without studying or cramming or any kind of preparation?

What's a good score?

What will get me into UVA?

According to their website, the M.Ed. program is only 30 credit hours. I could be in a classroom by fall 2007...

prolly worth giving it a try. if u don't do well, you'll at least know what to expect if u take it again. i'd go to the bookstore and buy like one of those big kaplan or princeton review books that tell you exactly what u need to know.

or better yet, buy one off half.com or Amazon, where it will be hella cheaper and just as good because really, how much does the GRE change from year to year? But check the website in case it throws a New-SAT type curveball at you.

...but spending money is half the fun! if you want to spend lots of money, take a kaplan prep course. i'm burning $1500 on an MCAT prep course this spring.

ok i'm gonna go to the atm and burn 20s as they come out of the machine with my grill lighter.

:)

Spending money is the PROBLEM. I won't have any.

But after talking to Erin, and browsing more websites, I'm leaning toward MBC now, which does NOT require GRE's.

And I checked the GRE website - someone in there needs to go to college again, because they suck at web design. Most confusing site ever.

Umm, study first. There was a website I was looking at from time to time - number2.com, I think, that was decent.

I find it super amusing that you might be going to UVA.

My M.Ed is only 33 credit hours. I wonder if that is standard?

Due to the nature of my M.Ed program, I (fortunately) did not have to take my GREs. Maybe you won't have to?

If you do, I would suggest going to the library and getting review books. If you score well enough, you may have the opportunity to bypass some classes and earn credits.

UVA requires them, but the school that has just taken the lead (Mary Baldwin College) does not. We'll see what MBC says before I worry about this further.

I KNOW MARY BALDWIN! It's another all women's college. We used to compete against them, being that I went to another all women's college. NEATO!
