jianantonicWith regard to the internet, the only thing that sucks worse than dial-up is AOL, and I'm at my in-laws', with nothing better than dial-up on an aol account. It took me 14 minutes to get from the start screen of AOL to the update your journal screen website. Mother effer.
Not to say I'm not having a good time here. It's been a good weekend and I'm sorry it's almost over, but I've got shit to do. I haven't slept well because I've woken up in the middle of each night with a bad cough. Luckily, I've also had plenty of time during the day to laze around. Right now Jer is sleeping so he can be ready to drive us back home in a little while. We're in his car, which I refuse to drive - Mercedes, Schmercedes, I hate the thing. But at least I don't have to drive, which normally I wouldn't say, but being as sick as I am, I prefer to just chill on the passenger side.
When we get home tonight, step one is a load of laundry. Step two is to catch up on email and my friends page (no chance of doing that in one sitting with this connection). I'd hoped to get to the gym tonight, but I just feel so ill, I don't think I'd last long. Tomorrow we're going to the Water Park, so that'll be good exercise, and I prefer to allow my body to rest as much as possible before then. I wish I could go run, though. I was getting into such a good habit. So many things are frustrating me right now, it's hard to look on the bright side - but I just fantasize about the better days ahead, and it keeps me going. I'm going to get ready to say my goodbyes here now. Jer and I should hit the road so we can get home at a reasonable hour.
