Feb. 2nd, 2006 08:21 pmWhatever I have, I hate it. My cough, which had been my only real symptom, is mostly better now. I still have a few coughing fits a day, but it's not constant like it was. However, I now have an earache. A really painful one. One of the other girls at work had an ear infection not long ago. I swear it's that damn building. Since I'm no longer worried about job security there, I'm going to write a letter to a bunch of the higher ups in the hope that they will do something about the problem - at least look into the possibility that it's a sick building like I'm so sure it is.
Guess what I just found...a whistle pop! We'd bought a few of them last time we were at Cracker Barrel (ages ago). Man, I used to love these things. And you can't just get them at the store. I always wondered why they were so hard to find. Every kid loves them, right? Maybe it's for the sake of the parents that they're hard to come by. Hehe. Mine isn't really well-tuned. Oh well. I can't complain; it was only 30 cents.
Man. I only have ten more workdays at my current job. Then they'll pay out all my vacation time after I leave (something like a week's worth), so for a brief overlap, I'll be receiving income from two places. That's kinda sweet. Plus, one of these days, we'll get our 2004 tax refund (we filed on time, but it's a long story).
Hmm...I'm looking at Charlottesville real estate now. We can afford something if we sell our current house. We'll see. I'm on the fence, but I think I want to look around. I'm getting sidetracked now...must search real estate...
Peace.
