Feb. 21st, 2006 11:03 amI do NOT feel well.
In fact, I think what I feel could be described as the complete opposite of feeling well. I believe the appropriate term is "completely shitty."
I parked in the garage today, which is going to cost something ridiculous, because I didn't feel like I could handle walking even the two blocks from the metered lot. If I feel better this evening, I'll make up for my lack of effort by going for a long walk around the neighborhood or something. But something tells me I'm going to be feeling unwell throughout the day. :(
My evening plans have been cancelled, probably for the better, so I think I'm just going to lay low at home tonight. "Home." Whatever that is. Maybe I'll buy a pillowtop for the mattress before I give up completely on the evening. Oy, I'm going to miss weekly paychecks. But I can get on board with the monthly thing, given the hefty raise...but still...it'll be three weeks before I get paid again. That is a while....
So...the one bit of news I have is that we are definitely getting the condo. Unfortunately, the timing just isn't right for us to get a phase 1 unit, so we won't be able to move in until this fall. The upside of that is that it gives us time to really get our house ready before listing it. My parents have agreed to let us have the apartment from the time our house sells to the time we can move into our new place. That's good news. We'll be able to save a lot of money in that time. Hopefully the new place will be ready in September, but the realtor said it could be as late as November (which would suck, on the one hand, but be great on the other hand, because no mortgage payments for six months or so would be NICE). This, of course, is counting on selling our current house relatively quickly, which I think we will...here's hoping.
Ugh, I am ill. :(
Peace.
