Taking a break...already, I know...

jianantonicCleaning sucks. The progress is frustrating. I mean, I can see we're "getting there," but, ugh, it's a pain. So I'm taking a break, but since most of the world isn't even awake yet, it's not like there's anything new on the internet since two hours ago. So it's time for a more in depth update, perhaps.
I've decided I'm going to do away with the fake nails. They impede my guitar-playing, they're expensive to keep up, and it's not realistic to try and do them with Gina when we live an hour apart and she only goes on weeknights. Sigh. I think I'm going to try to get them off myself, but since I've had them for several months now, I don't think that's going to be very easy. I'm prepared for a good deal of pain this evening when I try to do it....
On Friday night, Jer and I went drinking and driving. Heh. I drank, he drove:) He bought me a top-shelf bourbon and ginger from the lodge here at the nut, and you know what's sad? It was good...but rail is better. I'm such a cheap date:) But I'm really not such a drinker at all. It'll probably be awhile before I imbibe again. It feels good, sure, but it just makes me act like a class A moron and it's not like it's healthy...so I really have no reason...meh.
I checked the hours at Gold's, and they're only open until 5 on Sundays, so I think I'll wait and check them out tomorrow or Tuesday. Tonight I might as well stick around the mountain until this evening. Maybe the Vogens want to try a late lunch at Romano's.
My 20 minutes are up. Back to cleaning, boxing, sneezing...peace.
