I just have time for a quickie before I get ready for work today. I'm bummed about the forecast. It was pretty this weekend, but it's not supposed to get above the 40's for the next few days. As long as it's nice on Saturday, though, I won't complain. We're doing the Crabtree Falls hike this Saturday. A couple folks from work are already planning on it. This blog is my open invitation, by the way. If the weather cooperates, we'll leave from Charlottesville around 10am, I think.

I watched the Oscars last night with the Gerckes. I haven't watched an awards show in years, but it was pretty much what I expected. Dolly Parton's body is just frightening. She looks like a charicature. But I love her anyway. I also have a theory that the more obscure the award, the longer the acceptance speech. Oh and yay for Reese Witherspoon! I was pissed that Memoirs of a Geisha won for costumes because that film was so inconsistent! More on that later - I'll be late for work if I get into it now.

Perhaps the biggest news of the weekend, though...I shaved my legs. First time in at least a year, I think. It feels weird...also more on that later. I drank about four bottles of water right before bed and I really have to go potty now! ;)

sweet. I wanna leave from my folks' house in Charlottesville around 10am. If y'all are a bunch of sissy sleep-inners, then I guess we could push it back a little...but I'm an early riser/hiker.

i am indeed a sissy sleep-inner, so naturally i would prefer later...

but if it must be 10am, then i guess i can inject some caffeine directly into my veins to get me going.
