jianantonicToday was long and rather uneventful, but not bad. School was school, but work was good. I worked with one couple for about two hours when I first got there, and helped them pick out their wedding bands. Then a few hours later, a young guy looking to get engaged came in, and I taught him all about diamonds. He was one of the truly clueless grooms-to-be when it comes to shopping for engagement rings, but I think I got him started. No purchase yet, but I think he's going to go with a nice small princess cut. My coworker Christina's boyfriend is proposing to her sometime tomorrow or the weekend. Jay's been making her ring in secret. She has no clue, and she keeps complaining about how her boyfriend will never propose. It's funny, since we all know he's about to.
I went to Bridgewater to watch a movie with Jer for my history class, and completely forgot there's a paper due tomorrow reviewing its historical accuracy, which I really don't want to write. Bleh. It's so much easier to churn out 750 words on LJ than on an assignment. I should do an independent study in journal-keeping. I'd so rock that.
I am getting really tired now, so I should hit the books before I fall asleep in them. Peace.
