While reading the Hook, my eyes glazed my own name in bold print in the personals section. There was a personal left by Meg, age 23. Whoa, there's another one in Charlottesville? I didn't know that. So I read the ad, just to see what my twin wanted. It could've been written by me! She enjoys yoga, swing dancing, philosophy...so, aside from the fact that I would never put a personal in the newspaper (with my real name, especially), it could've been written by me - is one of my friends playing a prank? Well, two can play at that game... ;)

I had a fun afternoon out with Erin and Danny. Good Margaritas, good "food," good times. On my way home, Adam text messaged me from the press box at the UVA game to tell me my favorite player had just hit a homerun. Yay:) I listened to the rest of his broadcast and sensed the on-air shout-out that was his constant reminding that "Beau Seabury will be joining us on the air just after the game." He called later to say that with 30,000+ listeners, he couldn't just say "Hey Meg, your boy's coming up so keep listening," but I knew that's what he meant.

I put on the MLB.tv broadcast of the Dbacks-Braves game just as it was getting started. Miguel Batista had a terrible first inning - 45 pitches, 5 earned runs, including a bases-loaded walk and a grand slam. Ugh. It's not that I gave up - the Dbacks have come from behind many times this season - it's that it was late and I knew I wasn't going to be able to see the rest of the game anyway, so I turned it off and watched Friends instead. When I checked the news this morning, I saw that the snakes did in fact come back to win the game, 10-9, off a game-winning, bases-loaded single by Craig Counsell, my favorite player on that team. So it was a good night for my favorites, and my fantasy team did well, too. All in all, I'm pleased.

Jer worked until after 2am yesterday, so I don't expect he'll be awake anytime soon, but when he is, we're hopping the mountain to work on our house this weekend. We'll also visit with his parents and some Valley friends, and eat many meals at Romano's. It's been too long.

Peace.

I saw that ad and I was like "Whoa - that has to be Meg. (Well I mean, it was Meg but not our Meg.) So that wasn't you? Wow.
