As expected, I'm crazy sore from the trainer experience last night. But I wouldn't work out so well if I weren't paying someone to torture me, so bring it on, I say! Jen did this killer ab thing with me - it was positively excruciating, but I made it through and she said she can tell I'm a lot stronger now. Heck yeah:) Tonight, I'm most likely playing tennis after work, but if not, it's back to the gym for my daily dose of self-inflicted ass-whooping.

I'm a bit bothered to find out that the daily multivitamin I've been taking has fish parts in it. I guess that's not terrible, really, I mean I've loosened my stance on gelatin...but...I still wish it didn't have to be that way. Bad vegetarian. Sigh.

Three days 'til I make my appearance at the Raleigh bridge tournament. I'm a lot more relaxed about it now that I know how I'll be getting there and where I'll be staying. I can't wait to see my bridge homies! (Sense the sarcasm in my use of the word "homies.") Most of those folks are already there by now. Oh, that reminds me, I have to go buy some beads for a choker I'm making for Jeremy F. Hopefully I can remember also to MAKE the choker.

But for now, work.

Peace.

On the plus side, you probably kill fewer fish with your multivitamin than you would by eating sushi occasionally (do you even eat sushi?) (wait, dumb question...). So. Anyway. I wouldn't worry too much about it. As you no doubt know better than I do, it's very difficult to be completely vegan and still remain healthy.

Well....okay, make that "eat healthily" instead of "remain healthy." I know people who eat no vegetables (none!) and haven't been sick since I've known them. One is a vegetarian. It's all relative, I guess.

I think a vegan diet is, on the whole, much healthier than most others...that probably has to do with the fact that vegans as a rule have to be careful about what they eat. There could be vitamin deficiencies here and there, but I think the omega complexes are just the new "it" vitamin. ;)

Yeah, I could see that...they just take a bit more effort to do properly.

I think I'll go have my daily peanut-butter-and-jelly supper now. /hypocrite

Also, today I bought a block of tofu and lunch meat in the same purchase. I was amused.
