Yesterday was sucktastic. After having the better part of two days off work, it was like another Monday to be back. Bleh. Everyone at work was in a tizzy, and I somehow managed to slip underneath the chaos radar. That doesn't mean I had a good day. You try enjoying yourself when everyone around you is fucking bonkers. But it could've been worse - I could've been bonkers, too. It was pretty chill for me most of the day, but time really dragged on and I feel like I put in about 20 hours.

Ahren and I played bridge in the local club last night. We didn't stick around to see the score because we know it was not pretty. Nothing was going right for us and it was a generally frustrating evening. We bolted as soon as the game was over and pretty much went straight to bed. I told Ahren before the game that if we finished above 50%, I'd buy him a drink, but below 50%, and he'd owe me. No doubt drinks are on him tonight. I was too tired to collect yesterday.

The weekend looks good. Tonight, Agents of Good Roots are playing at Fridays, so I'm going to that, then probably hanging out downtown for the rest of the evening. Tomorrow I'll get to sleep in (I was really tired this morning, after easily waking up at 6am every day this week), and then head farmward in the afternoon for hiking/riverplaying/camping fun. Danny, who's coming with you and when are you getting there? Is anyone else coming? Do you need directions? Let me know.
