Jun. 12th, 2006 03:10 pmSo, it's not been a good day. Headache, tummy ache, sore throat, and I'm generally irritable. Oh and work is a pain today. But just when I was starting to lose hope at a possible good day, Kevin came around asking what we need from the store. Our boss is rad and buys us whatever office supplies and food/drink we want for the kitchen, within reason.
Brent: Double A batteries, for my vibrator.
Me: Double A? Mine takes D's.
Kevin: Too much information!
Brent: We're kidding. At least I am.
Me: Seriously, double A? I think you'd need more than that.
Nate: No, double A is enough. Triple A should even be good for about 20 minutes or so.
Doug: You're all wrong. This is what you need: http://www.69lovetoys.com/sex-toy.asp?ProdID=872&SubCat=1e
And thus, my day was significantly improved. The best part is that Kevin, Brent, and I were the only ones in the room - Nate and Doug just chimed in when they heard a conversation that piqued their interests. ;)
Also I just wanted to mention how much I love living at the new place. I'll be sad to go in December. My favorite thing about the new roommates (some of them, anyway - I haven't tested this with all of them yet) is that they like hugs. I need lots of those lately. No particular reason. I just do. I think the hug is an oft-neglected form of socializing that should be brought back into the mainstream - but not in the teenybopper girly OMG sort of way. Just in the you are a nice person and I want to soak you up way. I still have a headache, so you can write off this entry to sick rambling, if you'd like.
Peace.
