I was a Valentine's Day singer in high school. I guess I sang in front of as many as 40 people for that.

Movies, sure, TV shows, well, I don't watch any TV anymore.

Aww, happy birthday Nate!

I think writing on your hand (or on your shoes) is a high school thing. As you get older you start worrying about stupid shit like what other people think when they see you.

It's not so much about what others will think as that I usually have time to just go out and do whatever I was writing to remind myself. In school, you've gotta sit in a classroom until the bell rings, then go sit in another classroom and so on...now if I remember I need to deposit a check or make a phone call or whatever, I just excuse myself and go do it.

That's a good point.

I've taken to writing to-do lists on pieces of paper. Grocery lists, too. Because really, there's just too much to fit on the back of my hand!
