jianantonicBridge was el suck last night. I played with someone I'd never played with before, and I had *no* cards, so I wasn't able to do much in the way of carrying my partner. And she was...not good. To say the least. Oh well.
Ahren and Kmart arrived early this morning, and apparently my mother has told them that they will have to clean her gutters if they want to stay here. What a bitch! They said it's no big deal, but I can't believe she did that. She's having some issues with her medication again now, and she's really worried she'll have her license taken away again. Honestly...I think that would be best. She says she's constantly dizzy. One should not be driving while constantly dizzy. I'm worried about her, too. She has a doctor's appointment this morning, and probably a new MRI soon. She says her doctor is very unfriendly and she doesn't like seeing him, but he's the only one for some reason. He's not her GP, but her specialist. I think she's afraid to be completely honest with me about her ailments because I told her GP on her last year when she was being irresponsible with her meds. She just really doesn't want her license taken away. I feel terrible for her, and I hate that our family is in this situation, but she is generally healthy, and I think giving up driving would be a small price to pay to be able to try some different meds, because the ones she's on now are not good for her. So I guess that's why she's being a bitch (remember six months ago when I complained about this all the time) and I can understand that, so I'm cutting her some slack. I still think she's being a bitch...but I understand.
I'm really excited about the hike and camping this weekend. I think what we should do is meet at the farm (the hike is beyond the farm on 56) and just take a few cars to the hike - say 1 or 2pm? It's not a really long hike, so that should give us plenty of time to enjoy the trail and get back to the farm to set up camp before dark. Emily is going to make some hard cider from the apples we picked last weekend, or so she says, and we'll have all sorts of yummy goodness and fun things to do. It's going to be a blast - or as Danny will tell you, it'll be intents! Yukyukyuk;)
I'm so hungry today - I had a decent breakfast plus two snacks, and it's not even noon yet and I'm craving lunch. Dunno what that's all about, but I'm going to take my lunch break soon...
