After our family said grace, my oldest brother announced that he got engaged last week. His girlfriend is wonderful. I like her quite a bit, and I'm very happy for them. It's just that, due to the timing of it all, it's difficult for me to be completely joyful. My first reaction was to run to my room and cry. Needless to say, after spending the day yesterday talking to various family members about my marriage situation, it's hard to see everyone rejoice at my brother's engagement. I AM happy for him. It's just not easy for me to celebrate right now. :-/
