jianantonicAll the relatives have cleared out now except for Lucy, who's with us for one more day. William, A, and my dad went down to Blacksburg for the football game, and I have a session with my trainer at the gym in about an hour. This is an exhausting holiday. I think all my aunts get now that the things my mother told them about me and my situation weren't entirely accurate, and they all wished me luck with moving out. They get it. I'm down to only 12 more days now. I never heard back from the realtor about pushing it up even more...I think he was probably already on vacation by the time I tried to reach him. Maybe I'll hear something this week, though.
My cousin Lauren taught me a crochet stitch yesterday and got me started on a new scarf. The one I'm knitting is about halfway done, and I do plan to finish it, but I wanted to get started with the crocheting while there was someone here who could teach me. I'm still not very good and I only know one type of stitch, but we'll see. Lauren and I are very different people with very similar philosophies. I always feel so enlightened after our conversations. I hope I can find a way to see more of her this year.
Last night, everyone was planning the family beach week for this summer. That really bummed me out because I'm probably not going to be able to go, and I'm pretty much the only one who can't. I really look forward to the day when I have the means to travel whenever I want. I hope I don't have to wait too long for that.
I've got lots of great pictures that I need to sort and post from the weekend...don't know when I'll have time, though. I'll be at the gym until noon, then the game will be on, and I'm in charge of all dog walking duties until my brother gets back late tonight.
Holy eff I'm tired - I wonder what I'll have the energy for at the gym today :-/
