I almost talked myself out of going today because I'm so sore, but it's really only my upper body that's hurting, so I decided to go, do some leg stuff, and then for cardio just get on one of the bikes. Following Jen's advice, I decided to mix it up and do some different machines. Of course, leaving my old favorites behind left me with all the ones I hate. That's life. I hit all the lower body muscle groups, doing sets of 15 instead of 10 on each machine. I didn't do cardio bursts in between because I honestly didn't have the energy, and was fighting off a killer headache, but I feel good about what I got done.

I did about 32 minutes on the bike and a lowish-medium resistance level. I kept it light, with my heart rate right around 140-145 the whole time, going for 7 miles. I always feel like the bikes are such a copout compared to the treadmills and other cardio equipment, but when I was done today, I could definitely feel that I'd gotten a good workout. It wasn't as intense as running, but 30 minutes of cardio is good no matter how you get it done, so it's all good. I think what I'll try to do from here on out is keep doing the treadmill at least 3x per week, and then on lighter days I'll alternate between the other cardio equipment.

So now that I'm home, what am I supposed to do with the rest of my day? I woke up before 5am and I've already done all the things on my agenda and made myself bored of all the things I do for fun. I kinda feel like going shopping, but do stores even have anything left by the Sunday after Thanksgiving? And if there are crowds, my headache will only get worse. Man, life is hard. :-P

I wish I knew where my Sims 2 disc was...ah well.

I think I'm going to kick back Ross Geller style with a new puzzle. I know I'm a nerd. Don't judge me:)

Peace.
