I don't know if you can call it volunteering when you feel you've got no choice, but in addition to my bridge tournament this weekend, I told my boss I'd go into work this weekend for a bit. He didn't ask me to, but he did imply that we have a pretty tight Monday morning deadline for one project I'm working on. It would've been done today, but another thing I was working on got all fucked up and I spent the whole day trying to fix it, which I finally did at the end of the day. I don't actually know when I'll find the time to put in this work, but hopefully I will and it'll buy me some time off during the week. We will see. I feel so burnt out right now...I hope I have a good bridge game tonight. That will help things.

Jeebus, it's December and I wore short sleeves all day and drove to work with my window down. WTF? I mean, I like this weather, but the fact that it's like this now makes me a little nervous.

I wish I had time for a nap. :-/

I totally agree with you on this bizzarro weather we had the previous five days or so. When I was walking downtown staunton in flip flops at midnight, in late November(!!!), I did get a little nauseated trying to think of the various climate changes that could theoretically be responsible. But then I was like, DUH, responsibility isn't really a deep question, since I think the human species and the Industrial Revolution have a few things to do with our present oddities. WTF is def an appropriate thought!
