jianantonicI just moved into first place in my unit's Mini-McKenney Award Race for my division, and with three weeks and no tournaments left in the year, it's a safe bet I've won it. How bout that. That wasn't even on my radar until October, when I realized I was in the running. I'm amused.
I played again with Gail last night, and our goals were simple: beat my mom, and beat these two other bitches that I don't know but Gail hates. Done and done. We took first place and claimed it for Spain, then I came home and crashed. I'm busy as heck for the rest of the week, too. Tonight I have a training session. Tomorrow there's a year-end business meeting at work, then I'll go to the gym, followed by a massage. Ahren rolls into town sometime on Thursday, then we play bridge that night if he's not too tired. Friday is a concert at the Gravity Lounge, Saturday we have top secret plans, Sunday is an office outing to the circus, Monday is more DI and more bridge, lather, rinse, repeat...
Oh, and did I mention I get to move out on Thursday?! It was supposed to be Wednesday but it got bumped back a day, which is fine because Ahren's arrival also got bumped back a day so it's all good.
Okay, must work.
