jianantonicI'm supposed to be tutoring right now but my tutee didn't show up. I'm generally bored. I am, however, wearing the second best outfit ever. The first best outfit ever is only for warm days - my maroon velvet pants and the long flowy tank top from Australia - but this outfit is the best for cool/coldish days. Starting at the top: black mini-claws holding back half pigtails, wavy hair but not poofy, blue knit sweater, v-neck with a big floppy collar and extra-long sleeves, black skirt that comes to my calves, black and blue stripey socks that go all the way past my knees, and black chunky heels. Oh, can't forget my silver bracelets along with the other jewelry I wear everyday. This outfit is so me. I love it. Best of all, it's guitar day, so I'm carrying a guitar case with me. I look like I belong at a protest in DC playing Dylan with all the other hippies. :)
I still haven't turned in that book review to Dr. Longenecker, which means I'm beyond failing if he holds to the syllabus (he is usually lenient). But I talked to him today and he seems to understand that I have a psychological block and that I am otherwise a stellar student, always prepared for class and so on, so I think he's going to give me a break. I don't know. I have to turn the thing in first. Sheesh.
So my guitar professor is coming to the Staunton EFO show with me and Jeremy, and he's bringing his lady friend. This makes me happy. I have great seats, too. Hoorah:) That reminds me, it's time to buy my Arlo Guthrie tickets. The concert schedule is packed for the rest of 2003. November begins with Arlo Guthrie and finishes with back to back Girlyman then EFO. Then December kicks off with EFO at the Staunton show. Complete and total yay.
I'm off, need to buy tickets and get lunch.
