I'm not sure what's gotten into me lately. All of a sudden, I'm neat. As in tidy. I spent my whole lunch hour (and by "hour" I mean 100 minutes - I've moved to a base 10 time-keeping system) at my apartment cleaning up. And I spent half of my workday so far straightening up around the office. I've actually kept my apartment fairly tidy since I moved in. I'm really looking forward to moving into my REAL place and seeing how nice I can make it look. I think I'll do alright.

Things have been a lot more chill today than I expected. The daunting tasks I thought would take forever actually were here and gone in no time. I should give myself more credit. Tonight, I'm continuing the trend of domestic goddess by packing up my laundry and taking over my mom's laundry room. Ahren and I will sit in our least dirty clothes (because, let's be honest, we ran out of clean ones days ago) on my parents' couch with laptops in our laps playing bridge like the old ladies that we are. Then tomorrow we're driving up to MD to play in a tournament with real people (as opposed to the fake ones that exist only in cyberspace). We've got a tourney in Williamsburg next weekend, and then maybe one in NC the weekend after that...but I'm not sure if we're willing to travel that far - it's 5 hours away. We'll see how the next two weekends go.
