jjbrr to relate my woe, and he said he thought "burned canned corn" must be some new phrase or something because I couldn't possibly mean I'd actually burned canned corn. But I did. It's not that I don't know how to make the stuff or that I didn't realize 20 minutes would be too long to leave it on the stove. It's that I forgot about it after I put it on there. That is, until the whole apartment started to wreak of burned corn. I nearly vomited, but Ahren ate it right up. Said it needed salt. Today he ate one of my fake chicken patties for lunch and admitted that it tasted good. "Don't get any ideas, though, I'm not going to become a vegetarian, EVER!" Yeah, like the thought even occurred to me. Meat is like the last thing on the list of poor choices I want that boy to kick. First he needs to stop ignoring his 4-card majors. Next is smoking. Then the mayonnaise. The list goes on...if it ever gets down to the point where my top concern is that he's a carnivore, well, I can't imagine bliss like that.
I'm training tonight with Jen. I finally get to face the fact that I've been a bad, bad girl over the holidays, and no doubt she'll make me pay for it. I haven't gone to the gym in two weeks now, and I feel totally shitty about that. I'd say that's probably the top source of stress for me right now. It's a good thing I'm going tonight, then, though I am dreading it quite a bit. I'll live. It'll be good for me. Maybe someone will rub my feet when I get home. But I doubt it. I think my feet would even cause a fetishist to question himself.
Oh, my DI kids wrote a really cute script. I love it:) And I'm so proud of them for actually sticking to the assignment I gave them. Rock on!
