I'm not sure if this is meant to be only for women, but the options under gender include male and trans and basically things that are not just "female," so do this survey if you get a chance:

http://www.questionpro.com/akira/TakeSurvey?id=613719

It's for a friend of a friend, and it's quick and painless.

Oh and tell your friends - she's looking for as many responses as possible. Thanks!

Peace.

that was neither quick, nor painless.
:P

But hopefully the 20 minutes I spent will be helpful. :)

Well I guess it all depends on how long-winded you are in your answers:) But I'm sure she appreciates your responses.

Hi! I am just a random person trying to find out about Bridgewater college and seeing it is one of your interest, I decided to ask you! I was just curious whether or not Bridgewater allows you to select your roommates? Me and my friend are both attending and would like to able to share a dorm together. Also, how are the dorms? Comfortable? Bathrrom/showers? In room or not? I love bridgewater but I know there is a fault somewhere!

Hi there ~
I graduated from BC in 2004, and I loved it there. Some things about dorm life take some getting used to, but you'll probably love it. You can select your roommate. The only dorm I ever lived in was Daleville, which is set up in suites so the bathroom is between two dorm rooms, only accessible from those two rooms, so you share it with your suitemates. I think all the other girls' dorms are hall bath style, but Blue Ridge has some suites...not many freshmen get to live in Blue Ridge, though. The only dorm I really wouldn't have wanted to live in is Dillon, but lots of girls who did live there really enjoyed it.

Anyway, enjoy your time at BC; it's a really great place. Congratulations:)

Also, suite bathrooms are less nasty than hall bathrooms because if you have to break down and clean the damn thing yourself, at least it's only one toilet instead of 3-6. I <3 suite setups, dorm-wise.

Well, at BC, you HAVE to clean the suite ones yourself, whereas the custodial staff cleans the hall baths...

Okay, sorry, I just checked your userID and it appears that you're not a female, are you? So disregard all the dorm-specific info I just gave you. The guys' dorms are Heritage and Wright, which are essentially identical, and Wakeman, which used to be for upperclassmen only but now with the apartments I think there are more freshmen living there...I'd go for Wakeman if I were you. It's quieter (if you prefer that - I do) and much, much cleaner. Although keep in mind I haven't spent much time on campus since before the apartments were finished, so I honestly don't know what dorm life is like now. I think Wakeman is the only guys' dorms with suites, but I know it has some hall baths, too.
