Oct. 30th, 2003 10:45 amThis post is just for self gratification. No one actually needs to read it.
One of the things that pissed me off this weekend was when I was talking about how I can't believe Meaghan had scheduled an outdoor wedding for October. Christina said, "It's never been this cold in October before. You can't blame her."
Me: Isn't it usually colder than this in October? I remember being one frozen child every Halloween...
Christina: Well my birthday is October 29th and it has never been this cold on my birthday before.
Me: (checks weather.com) It says here that the average high for October is only 65 degrees. Too cold to count on good weather for an outdoor wedding if you ask me.
Christina: It's never that cold on my birthday. I know.
Me: Whatever.
OK, so her birthday was yesterday. Weather.com says that Harrisonburg, VA was 63H/37L yesterday. It also says that the October 29th average is 61H/35L. I win, Christina not only has to be right all the time, but has to say I'm wrong all the time. Well, I'm right. This is also very childish but the fact of the matter remains: I'm right.
