Some lady just walked into my apartment. She scared the shit out of me and I was shocked and speechless, not to mention naked, and she saw me and gasped and apologized and left. Without shutting my door. I got up, shut the door behind her, and locked it, which I will probably remember to do from now on for the rest of my life. I normally do keep it locked while I'm in here, but for some reason I forgot this afternoon, probably cause I'm so tired. Anyway I did think maybe she was a new neighbor or something, but she was with a really old lady and I doubt that an old lady like that would take a third floor apartment with no elevator. So it really makes me wonder wtf they were doing. And the more I go over it in my head, the more I wish I had asked her just that. I mean, I was watching a DVD, there was obviously noise coming from my place. What the hell was she thinking?!

Anyway, when my heart rate finally came down, I made some rice and tofu for dinner. The funny thing is, I had rice and tofu here, and even though I was dragging ass after shopping for new clothes, I went to the grocery store and loaded up on lots of non rice and tofu items. Oh well, I'll have it for tomorrow anyway.

Clothes shopping was exhausting, but overall a success. I found lots of things I liked, but not so much that I hit my credit limit. Nah, seriously, I bought a dress, a skirt, a top, and some jeans, all two sizes lower than what I've been wearing up until last month. :)

I actually found about 30 dresses that I really loved, but I won't be able to wear them until it's much warmer anyway. Maybe I'll get them if the store still has them in summertime...on sale.

And when did Belk become some snooty upscale store? I found about 30 of the exact same pieces there that I'd seen at JC Penney only three times more expensive. What's with that?

Oh, and it snowed today. I don't know if there's any accumulation - it just started coming down when I got home, and I haven't looked outside. But that's the news from Lake Wobegon this evening. Where all the women are strong, the men are good looking, and the children are above average...

Peace.

No, it was a younger lady who barged in on me.

Heh, perhaps. Anyway, I'm really regretting not bitching her out. But if I had bitched her out, I'd probably regret that, too.
