Here I am in December.



I sorta wanted to cut my hair then, but I felt like my face was too chubby to pull off a nice short 'do. And I loved the long hair, too. I mean, it looks really good here...(I'd straightened it that day - normally it's very curly.)

Fast forward to February. Meg minus 15 pounds:



That was the day of the haircut. I felt good about my skinny jeans and skinny face, so I asked the lady at the salon to give me a very short bob. Her definition of very short is longer than my definition of very short, but I like what she came up with anyway:

I love that one. I'm laughing, so it's a natural smile, and I think I look cute. It's the first time I've felt cute in a long time, so I'm basking in it.


I also feel like I look so much older now. I probably won't be mistaken for a teenager again any time soon.


This was on my way to the gym. Look at the pigtails! Okay so you can't see the pigtails but they're there! I also included this one to show off my progress. Look how all the curves are in the right places:)


Ahren and I have a tradition of dressing up when we play bridge together. This was my outfit for the game yesterday. It's also what my hair looks like after naturally drying. It's going to take a lot of effort to make it look the way it did after the salon. I think it's cute enough like this.
