I wonder when my abs will stop being so sore...
I guess I am a little better today, and I can't bitch too much about my abs because I did do some ab workouts last night despite their tenderness. Today it's mostly my legs bothering me - Jen really creamed them on Tuesday night, and I did a little bit more cycling yesterday to fight back against bikecrotch. I'm making some progress in that arena. Tonight is my night off from the gym since I've got bridge. Hopefully Friday I'll be all set to go again. That would be 6/7 days this week for me. Hardcore.

I wrote my first mortgage check for the new place today. It was nice living for a couple of months with no mortgage or utilities to pay, but I'm ready to reassume those responsibilities. So long, spare cash. It's been fun.

Virginia Tech men's basketball is playing at UVA tonight, but Adam is a bad friend who won't give me tickets to this one because I'd "cheer for the wrong team," according to him. Lame. But I'll go to bridge instead, so it's not a total loss.

I'm wondering if Spring is here, or if there will be more winter weather before I can hang up my coat for the year. I haven't worn anything heavier than a sweatshirt for the last week, and I'm looking forward to wearing the sun dress I bought last week. Winter was kind of pansy this year, with the exception of about one week of absolute bitter cold in early February, so I'm wondering if there's not some huge surprise blizzard in the works for right when everyone in Virginia starts pulling out their shorts and tank tops. The weather here is always like that - for a few months out of the year, you never know if you're going to have to bundle up or strip down. The element of surprise is part of the local charm.

Peace.
