Noodle Legs
Mar. 6th, 2007 10:16 pmI said goodbye to Ahren after work and then went straight to the gym for training. Not an easy transition. Jen decided that to cheer me up, or at least take my mind off it, she'd give me a new pain to focus on. And holy lord did she deliver. I can honestly say that I have never had a harder workout. EVER.
It's three plus hours since I left the gym and my legs are still all wobbly. I'm not in pain - yet - I'm just unable to support my own weight. I stood long enough to cook myself dinner, and I would've probably gone to bed an hour ago if only I could muster the energy to walk the 20 feet to my bed.
Hopefully my legs are alright tomorrow. I'm giving myself a day off from the gym (I don't have a choice!), but as a compromise, I'm walking a mile and back to pick up Brent's birthday cake from the bakery, so hopefully the noodleness goes away enough for me to make the walk. And I'm not eating any of it...
Peace.
