jianantonicMy partner came through for us and put found a solid pair to team with us this weekend in Lynchburg. I'm really looking forward to playing with this couple. I've always liked them but never spent much time with them. Hopefully we play well. I imagine we'll do fine. Many of the elite teams will be away at the nationals this week anyway, though I don't know how much that will actually affect this sectional.
The other day I was feeling like I was certainly coming down with the world's worst sore throat and head cold, so I ran to CVS and bought a jumbo bag of cough drops and a huge bottle of vitamin C tablets. I feel fine now, but my desk is starting to look like a medicine cabinet.
I would like to spend a quiet evening at home tonight and go to bed early, but that's not in the cards today - bridge from 7:30 to 11ish this evening. Maybe I can squeeze in a nap before I leave my house, though there's a chance I'll have to work late, so we'll see. Mostly I'm just looking forward to the leftover Indian food I have in my fridge...
I'm officially booked for every weekend from here until May.
