Mar. 22nd, 2007 01:22 pmI've definitely got a cold. It's not too bad, just terribly uncomfortable. My throat is very scratchy and swollen and I'm pretty light headed all the time, but I'm generally okay, I guess. I think all the stress from the last couple of weeks got the best of my immune system, but things are pretty much headed in a good direction for me now, so I've got little to stress about at the moment. I finally have a dresser in my apartment. I need a few more big things out of storage and then I'll be all set up.
I paid a whole schload of bills today. It's always a good feeling to get that crap out of the way. I need to pay my taxes still. It's complicated what with everything that's happened this year, and it'll be a huge relief to get those done. And by "get those done" I mean "turn them over to someone who will do them for me and write that person a check for as much as they want because not dealing with it myself is worth quite a lot to me."
I think I'll do a little shopping before bridge tonight. Ahren will be thrilled about that. The weather is getting really lovely here and there were some dresses at the mall I really loved. I need some nice summer clothes - everything I had last summer is either too big or in storage somewhere. Or both.
Meg: Does my hair look nice like this?
Ahren: I'm not really a fan of the clippy things, but you look great.
Meg: That's code for "I hate the way your hair looks, but this is the closest I can come to saying that without getting in trouble."
Ahren: ...
Meg: You're wrong. I look great.
Ahren: That's what I said.
Peace.
