jianantonicIt's been a while. I have my reasons, sure. Life is more dramatic than usual at present, and it's not the type of drama I particularly feel like discussing. But more than anything, I've been writing less here because I've been writing so much more for my job. Tons more. It's kind of great. I'm glad to be busy, and glad to be doing a job that actually suits me quite well.
Quick game of catch-up, for those of you who thought I'd dropped off the face of the earth...
Ahren and I broke up. It's friendly, and most of all, very, very sad. I love him and he's been there for me in ways that I absolutely needed him, and I absolutely continue to need him...but I also had to change the dynamic. I'm okay, and he seems to be okay, and I'm moving forward, okay? Let's not talk about this anymore. Thanks.
I have interns now. They're not bad. I think it's going to be a fun summer.

The bridal shower last weekend was loads of fun. One day, if I have time, I'll tell the story of the train ride up.
My brother is getting married this weekend. Holy shit, dudes. That, in itself, is exciting, of course...but the most exciting part of it is that it's a whole weekend of partying with both sides of my family and many of my closest friends, and I'm not the bride this time, so I can actually spend time with them all. Rock on.
