I have an exciting weekend planned, and it can't start soon enough if you ask me. I don't have anything really going on tonight, so I'm going to go to the gym and then to my mom's house to make sure I grab all the stuff I don't want sold in tomorrow's yard sale. I'll probably play some online bridge at home, assuming our network doesn't fuck up again (it's been a real bitch lately), and have a quiet evening at home. Then it's off to Williamsburg in the wee hours of the morn tomorrow for two sessions of pairs, a Yonder Mountain String Band concert tomorrow night in Nawfuck, and Swiss teams on Sunday. The strata are done by team average, so even though we've got a Gold Life Master (well, almost) on our team, we'll be C's. I think this is awesome. I also think it would be awesome if he earned his GLM by winning C. He finds it slightly less entertaining.
I have another tournament next weekend (playing in what will hopefully be my last NLM tourney/event, with Ahren), then a short work week and a Slaid Cleaves show on the way to Falcon Ridge. I can't flipping wait:)
In other news, there seems to be a strange theme developing in my office building/life. This morning when I came into work, there was a urinal in our office courtyard. It's still there. It takes me back to memories of the toilet that lived in my parents' front yard for seven months last year. If the chicks upstairs had issues with a plunger in a bathroom stall, I wonder how they feel about this.
