My trainer knows that my bum is brokified and it hurts most when I sit, so he gave me an entire leg and abdominal workout yesterday without sitting down at all.  I want you to think of all the times you've been to a gym to do some leg and ab stuff, and think of how many of those exercises required you to sit down.  70%?  80%?  It's somewhere around there.  It's certainly possible to work out all these muscle groups without being seated, but good LORD it's harder.

Today my arms are killing me from the various exercises that required me to hold myself up while working the legs.  Owie.

On Sunday, Z and I played in our bridge unit party.  We were 3rd overall in the 2 session, 24 table event.  Respectable.  The Massies were 1-2-3 in the first session (Kent & Geoff, Z & Me, Mom & Paul), but Mom took a shit in the second half and didn't place.  Kent won the whole thing with like a 70% game, and Z and I had something in the upper 50's for 3rd.

After the game, we went to the Gravity Lounge for an evening with Red Molly.  Ever since Z and I got together, I've been going to a lot of shows that I wouldn't otherwise have attended.  I've seen Red Molly perform a grand total of 5 songs in the past (at Falcon Ridge over the past 2 years), and I like them, but I was never familiar enough with their music to want to see them live, I guess.  But I've been branching out a lot since Z turned me on to the wide world of bluegrass, and I'm definitely glad I went to this show.  These girls really put on a good concert.  I bought their CD and EP and have been singing along in the car for the past day and a half.  I highly recommend them.

Saturday was spent with family at the VT-Miami game.  It was a great game, and I had a fantastic time.  The only thing that could've possibly made it better would've been if those effing Hoos hadn't beat Miami by 48 the week before.  Tech only beat them by 30.  Tech gets UVA at UVA this weekend though, and I'm really, really, REALLY looking forward to that one.  My dad has 4 tickets, and the 4th is still up for grabs (Mom may not go, in which case, I go, otherwise it's Mom, Dad, WT, and A), but I do hate to miss a half day that would otherwise be spent with my visiting family, so I probably won't end up going.  I will watch it on TV, of course.  Noon on Saturday.  Go Hokies.

Family starts getting to town tomorrow afternoon.  I love Thanksgiving so much:)  This year, I'm going to learn to crochet a hat.  And eat lots of sweet potatoes.

Peace.
